I mean if “perception is reality” then why wouldn’t we pick FABULOUS for our perception. Am I right?!!
I have been thinking lately about who I am and what I want to do with life at this stage. For the first time in many years, my focus isn’t just on being a daily hands on mom. Well, that all transitioned in the last couple years. But I am just now really thinking about how that will play out. Maybe it is that whole turning 50 next month thing that has me reflecting. Yes, 50. How can that be?!! 🙂
No matter if you are still in college, a young professional, a busy mom to littles, figuring out the middle school or teen years, or like me – headed to empty nesting….we have the CHOICE about how we see life. Circumstances happen – good and bad – but how we view them is up to us. Many are so dismayed at the prospect of turning 50. It has me thinking.
I’ve determined that:
- You can be whatever you want to be. Say YES and then figure it out. I am serious. Everything we ever needed to know is on the internet FOR FREE. I have run 2 businesses successfully by embracing that I can do this. Dream it & then decide to just go for it. We will have more regrets about “what if” than about our mistakes along the way. Life’s a journey. Don’t be afraid!
- We can be stylish at any age! Age does not change that. So I am embracing that I still love fashion and I don’t have any desire to be frumpy. I follow IG bloggers & shop online like a champ. Want to know more? Happy to share with ya. Follow me on IG and see who I follow too!
- Beauty is fixable. Amazing skincare products can actually produce visible results – and what that really produces is CONFIDENCE. It’s not vain to want to be the best version of you. I am no skincare junkie but have mastered taking care of my skin in 5 minutes twice a day. This, my friends, is do-able. It doesn’t have to be hard nor crazy expensive. Discovering this was so eye opening that it made me partner with the doctors who created Proactive. I wish losing 10 pounds was this easy! Just sayin…
- Faith matters. Have faith in something. For me personally, I have found hope in Jesus. I didn’t know Him until I was an adult so this was a big find for me. Happy to talk to you if you just want to be real with someone & talk. I love sharing what has made a difference for me & this has probably been the biggest impact on my life ever.
What are some things you would add to this list? When life gets tough, remember that FABULOUS IS AN ATTITUDE. We can pretty much find something fabulous in every day. Some days are harder than others. But that’s my theory & so I am sticking to it! 🙂
